H.O.P.E. - Hold On, Pain Ends

On April 2, 2020, scientists at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine announced a potential vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, the new coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic. When tested in mice, the vaccine delivered via a fingertip-sized patch produces antibodies specific to SARS-CoV-2 at levels considered sufficient to neutralize the virus.

According to Bill Gates, humankind has never faced a more urgent task than creating broad immunity to the coronavirus. "It will require a global cooperative effort as the world has never seen. But I know we'll get it done. There's simply no alternative", he said.

I have always admired his passion and outlook, and I recently came across his latest notes, where he clearly explains the vaccine race - 'What You Need to Know About the COVID-19 Vaccine.'

This will undoubtedly become humanity's most unifying mission.
